asksecularwitch: College Graduation Ceremony proves this. The professor who read the card, actually had me for classes before, and I did correct him with how to say my last name. Likewise, it was spelled out phonetically on the fucking card. He said it… WRONG. SO WRONG. My last name is a common name that’s commonly coded as masculine.  Like, seriously common.  Someone at my high school track meet STILL managed to mispronounce it.
